Evaluating the Flame Retardancy of Shaving Super Bamboo Layer by Layer Self-Assembly With Phytic Acid-Polyethyleneimine

To improve the flame retardancy of bamboo materials, layer by (LbL) self-assembly phytic acid (PA)-polyethyleneimine (PEI) on surface shaving super specimens with different solution concentrations PA-PEI and times LbL was completed in this study. Fourier transform infrared analysis results showed that PEI well assembled to a hydrogen bond PA as intermediation. The application significantly promoted formation carbon residue, characterized simultaneous thermal measurements. Particularly, peak heat release rate total 10 wt% were reduced 19.36 22.3%, respectively. treated specimen increases 35.56 480.70% fire performance index residual mass, respectively, compared control sample. Besides, yields CO 2 decreased 17.77 17.07% comparison group, can effectively materials promoting char layer.
